A Florida woman was arrested for damaging two properties rented through Airbnb by urinating on objects and then posting videos online.
Nicolette Keough, 31, was arrested following an investigation by the Pensacola Police Department regarding a criminal mischief case filed on March 15.
According to the police, Nicolette damaged the property by urinating on some objects while staying at an Airbnb rental. The owner then discovered videos posted online by an adult website depicting a woman urinating on objects in an Airbnb rental. The woman in the video was identified as Nicolette.
The owner also reported a strong odor of urine in the rental property.
Police also suspect that Nicolette might have damaged another rental property owned by the same owner on the same street.
According to the court documents, the damaged properties included an antique Crown Royal chair, a rug, a typewriter, four dining chairs, a coffee maker, a bed, a television set, a record player, a toaster, and an electric fireplace.
Pensacola Police Department spokesperson Mike Wood said Nicolette was arrested for criminal mischief, a felony offense. The amount damaged exceeded $3,000.
Nicolette was arrested and released on bond.
Mike Wood said Nicolette urinated on the objects and then posted the videos online to make money.
The spokesperson for Airbnb said Nicolette had been removed from the website and that the company was helping the owner through its damage protection program.
“This kind of behavior has no place on Airbnb. Property damage incidents during Airbnb stays are rare, and our hosts are backed by our 24/7 global Community Support and AirCover, which are included with every reservation.”
Nicolette was arrested and charged with criminal mischief.
