Footage Shows Multiple White Students From St. Hubert Catholic Girls School And Franklin Towne Charter High School Being Racist -

Multiple videos of white students from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls and Franklin Towne Charter High School being racist towards black people are currently circulating on social media.

From the videos, you can see white girls mocking black people. One white girl was spray painting one of her friend’s faces brown to mock black people by doing blackface and taking a jab about black history month. She yells, “You’re a black girl. You know your roots, it’s February!” while spray painting her friend’s face.

In another video, a white girl was wearing a pink drag and said, “ I got the durag on, I got the power to say [N-word],” while looking directly at the camera.

Franklin Towne Charter School released a statement about the racist video and revealed one of the girls in the video no longer attends their school.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia and Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls released a statement about the incident:

“Earlier today, it came to our attention that a handful of our students posted images and videos on a social media platform of a racially charged nature. As a Catholic educational institution that seeks to form Women of Faith and Integrity, we view racism as a mortal sin.”

The school continued by saying, “There is no place for it in our hearts and minds and there is no tolerance for such behavior at Saint Hubert’s. We are extremely disappointed to learn that anyone associated with Saint Hubert’s would act in such a manner, which is entirely inconsistent with our values. Please be assured that this matter is being actively investigated. All those responsible will be disciplined appropriately in accordance with our school handbook.”

Apparently, the Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls allegedly suspended the students but allowed them to compete at the cheerleading nationals in Florida, according to the Twitter user that made everyone aware.

The Archdiocese revealed some people made general threats toward the St. Hubert’s school community due to how they are handling the situation. The school will be closed for the remainder of the week, and classes will be happening virtually.

Many people on social media are voicing their opinions and frustrations about the situation.
