The St. Johns Police Department arrested a former teacher at St. Johns High School on January 30, 2024, for alleged criminal misconduct involving a student at the high school.
Danielle Ashley Lee, 27, was arrested for the following crimes: Luring a Minor for Sexual Exploitation, Furnishing Harmful Items to a Minor, Child Abuse, and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
The investigation into Lee began on January 30, 2024, after the St. Johns Police Department received information regarding potential criminal misconduct involving Lee and a student at St. Johns High School.
Several witnesses were interviewed during the investigation, and Lee was subsequently arrested. She is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The St. Johns Police Department has no information that other students were involved in this case. However, this is an ongoing criminal investigation, and the police department will not be providing further information at this time.
Lee is currently being held in the Navajo County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
