On May 26th, police arrested a former teacher from the London Independent School District again who had previously acknowledged having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Amber Prince got charged in March 2021 after London ISD called the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office to investigate allegations of impropriety between a teacher and a student.

In February 2022, Prince accepted a plea bargain in the case. She got ordered to surrender her educator credentials and licenses, stay away from the victim, complete 120 hours of community service, pay a $1,500 fine, and spend a total of 60 days in jail, 12 days per year for five years, beginning on or around February 24 each year.

The former educator got accused of disrespecting her probation officer, failing to pay court costs or her fine, failing to obey a curfew, failing to enroll in and complete a felony victim impact panel, failing to register in community service restitution, and failing to comply with internet monitoring rules.

Prince failed to report to the Community Supervision Corrections Department on February 7, according to the violation report.

Amber Prince’s plea agreement included a five-year deferred adjudication period, which means her conviction could have got expunged from her record if she did the probationary conditions
