A former teacher of Angleton High School has been arrested and indicted in a year-long investigation of inappropriate sexual relationships with her students, the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office said.

Holly Schroedter Adams was placed in jail in the Brazoria County Detention Center on Tuesday with one charge of tampering with physical evidence as a third-degree felony and two charges of purchasing or furnishing alcohol to a minor as a Class A misdemeanor.

Adams was released from jail on Tuesday evening after paying $26,000 for bail, sources at the sheriff’s office said.

According to the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office, investigators received information about the allegations on August 28, 2025. Investigators conducted an extensive investigation, including interrogations of current and former students and evidence gathering.

Finally, investigators submitted the case to the Brazoria County grand jury, which returned indictments on August 25, 2026.
