Four Jacksonville Jaguars players were arrested last night at a nightclub in London. The Jaguars are in London to face the Philadelphia Eagles to represent the NFL, while the company tries to expand and go global.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted Saturday night that the players were detained by authorities over not paying their $50,000 club tab.

The players, who earn an average of $45K a week, squared up to bouncers outside the nightspot, according to THE SUN.

“Things got pretty heated and there was a lot of swearing and shouting and things became physical. In terms of preparation for their match, you couldn’t think of anything worse.”

Four men in their 20s were arrested for fraud by the Met Police. They were released after nine hours in custody. It is understood the club dropped the complaint after the bill was settled.

The players will most likely play today against the Eagles. They will also get punish by the organization internally, the NFL will be giving out fines for these four players. The Jaguars are having a disappointing season of a late. They were expected to be one of the best teams in the AFC and now at this rate they won’t make the playoffs. They will be looking to break their losing streak against the Eagles.
