Halle Bailey’s Time-Zone Mix-Up Has Fans Letting Her Redefine the Weekend

Halle Bailey was slightly confused about the time zone when she declared it was Saturday, even though it was actually Friday.

Bailey posted two selfies in her walk-in closet on X (formerly Twitter), looking absolutely stunning in a yellow twisted wrap top and black sweats, with her signature locs down.

In the tweet, Bailey wished fans a “Happy Saturday,” but quickly corrected it after realizing there was confusion due to time zones.

The timestamp indicated it was early Saturday in Europe, but it was still Friday evening in most of the U.S., including the West Coast, where Bailey is thought to be located. She just laughed it off, saying it was still Friday for her.

The post went viral, garnering over a million views and many comments from people appreciating her effortless beauty and down-to-earth personality.

Many fans joined in on the joke, reassuring her that the day of the week is not set in stone.

“If you said it’s Tuesday, then it’s Tuesday,” wrote a commenter.

Others chimed in, saying, “If you say it’s Saturday, it’s Saturday” and “It’s whatever day you want it to be.”

Some fans are related to the confusion.

“When you are so busy you don’t even know what day of the week it is, yet you still manage to take a selfie,” one person joked, with another chipping in, “I’ve had to keep checking what day of the week it is because everything just seems a little off.”
