Ikeria Washington and Layla Temple Get High School’s Top Honors Taken Away After White Parents Claim Calculation Error

Ikeria Washington and Layla Temple, were initially named valedictorian and salutatorian of the 2021 graduating class at West Point High School South until the parents of two white students claimed a grade calculation error, the Mississippi school added their children as co-valedictorian and co-salutatorian.
