In praise of Kawhi Leonard, the dynasty destroyer

After a Game 4 victory against the Warriors in the Finals, Kawhi’s a win away from two of the most impressive playoff runs to date. Is he the best player in the world? That’s up for debate, but it’s a fact that he comes ready to play when going up against the best in the league.

Kawhi Leonard has now scored 30+ points in 14 games this postseason. Only three players in NBA history have had more 30-point games in a single postseason:

Micheal Jordan (16 games)

Hakeem Olajuwon (16),

Kobe Bryant (15).

If Toronto closes this out, Kawhi’s playoff run is going to become one of the greatest playoff runs in history. Of course he hasn’t done this alone but he’s been amazing The buzzer beater to send Philly home, knocking off the likely MVP, then taking down the team of the decade.
