South African boxer Simiso Buthelezi has died in hospital after suffering a brain injury that caused him to throw punches at thin air during his fight at the weekend.
Buthelezi was placed into a medically-induced coma after losing his equilibrium and attacking an invisible opponent.
It’s one of the scariest things we have seen in a boxing ring, our condolences go to Simiso Buthelezi’s family and friends.
