Influencer Ayzia J. Toledo Dies After BMW Overturns, Strikes Tree in New Jersey

Social media influencer Ayzia J. Toledo, who created content related to lifestyle and travel, died in a car crash that occurred in New Jersey.

According to Trooper Christopher Postorino from the New Jersey State Police, Toledo crashed her car in which she was travelling in a BMW. Her car flipped and crashed into a tree, according to PEOPLE.

Troopers arrived at the scene of the accident at 10:55 p.m. on July 5th. The investigation into what caused the car crash is ongoing.

Toledo and her passenger, Henrietta Carter, died in the incident, while another passenger who sustained minor injuries was admitted to a hospital nearby.

The families of Toledo and Carter were informed, according to Postorino. No traffic was delayed as a result of this car accident.

Before her death, Toledo had over 300,000 followers on her social media pages, including Instagram and TikTok. Her current Instagram account has approximately 85,700 followers. She was known for posting videos in which she prepared for her day, as well as videos about brand partnerships. On her Instagram, Toledo describes herself as a TV personality, content creator, and model.

Her last post is thought to be on 2nd July, just a few days before the crash, and it is of a promotional video for the brand Shein.

Following her death, her followers expressed their sadness through comments left on her Instagram account. Among those who left their condolences are the following: “Rest in peace,” one commenter said. Another wrote, “She was so beautiful. It’s so sad.” “rest in peace beautiful,” another commented, and “always in our hearts Ayzia j” wrote another fan. One more commenter said, “I’m still in denial about this, bruh. Fly high, Ayzia. Heaven gained another angel.”

One of the influencers, Terry Reloaded, remembered Toledo on his Instagram Story.

“Wow my strongest hustling friend. We got so close during these times, we grew a bond nobody could break. Even if we go months without talking we knew what’s up. My superstar, I love you my Philly frog. You did not deserve to go out like that. It’s up bout you 5LIFE,” he wrote.

One of Toledo’s friends, Zoe Spencer, shared her condolences on her Instagram Story.

“Wow. Sleep peacefully BEAUTIFUL wow. I’m just so lost for words. G-d bless her family. And G-d please put your angels and protection around all your daughters please,” Spencer wrote. She added, “In just one week I’ve seen way too many beautiful girls pass. Just so hurt because I keep having to open my phone and see another queen go. Omg you didn’t deserve this Ayzia, I’m so sorry.”

A GoFundMe was established in Toledo’s honor.
