Inheritance, an intense espionage thriller from IFC Films, has released its official trailer, giving audiences a first look at the gripping story starring Phoebe Dynevor (Fair Play, Bridgerton) and Rhys Ifans (House of the Dragon, Nyad). Directed by Neil Burger (Divergent, Limitless), the film promises to be a high-stakes adventure filled with intrigue, action, and family secrets.
The story follows Maya (Dynevor), whose life takes a shocking turn when she discovers her late father’s secret past as a spy. As this revelation unravels, Maya is thrust into an international conspiracy, making her the target of shadowy forces. To survive and uncover the truth, she must follow in her father’s footsteps, honing his espionage skills while navigating a dangerous web of lies and global intrigue.
The film is written by Neil Burger and Olen Steinhauer, a master storyteller in the espionage genre (The Tourist, Berlin Station). Alongside Burger, producers Bill Block (Fury, District 9) and Charles Miller (Brawl in Cell Block 99) have joined forces to bring this action-packed story to life.
