In the new digital era, creators are constantly redefining modern entrepreneurship and disrupting restricted barriers. But only a few have seamlessly implemented the blueprint that blurs the lines between influence and enterprise, such as Jayda Cheaves.
At only 16, Cheaves earned her first million dollars through entrepreneurial ventures ranging from extensions to fashion resale, continuously proving that her ambitions go beyond content creation.
Today, at 28, she has evolved into the founder and CEO behind multiple successful businesses: Waydamin, Jayda Cheaves Beauty (JCB), and Girl Wipes.
“It’s nobody but God; it’s such a blessing,” Jayda Cheaves beamed. “I never get caught up in it, but just to see it. I’ll get my hair done, then I’m like scrolling, and they’re tagging my name; it’s like ‘dang wait! I’m just going to get my hair done!’ But it’s so good, it’s awesome honestly.”
Her evolution was on full display during the Waydamin x Shopify Pop-Up, a three-day consumer experience in SoHo, New York, powered by Shopify.
This experiential activation invited all fans and customers into a retail space that gave exclusive access to interact with Cheaves while shopping their favorites.
Authenticity is always a standard this business mogul upholds, which was incredibly heartwarming to witness, as consumers were able to celebrate this major milestone with her.
As a mother and entrepreneur, she continues to show that ambition and family can coexist, inspiring a new generation of women who see themselves reflected in her journey.
“I’m so inspired by this pop-up that I want a store now,” Cheaves expressed. “It’s something I never thought; it’s crazy because I always said I don’t want brick and mortar, but having this just makes me feel good. My goal is a store one day …”

On the eve of the public launch, VIP guests gathered for an exclusive experience that offered an intimate first look at the pop-up.
The evening was a curation of featured Waydamin apparel, Jayda Cheaves Beauty, Girl Wipes, signature Waydamin alcoholic drinks, photo booths, digital styling mirrors, a pink manifestation flower wall, and more, all of which attendees could interact with beyond their social media feeds.
“I wear them (Waydamin capri’s) all the time … that’s my go-to; they’re so good. And I love pheromone 02, no shade to pheromone 01, but 02 is that girl!” she said.
Jayda Cheaves Beauty, affectionately known as JCB, had attendees raving about the must-have Lip Lube and showing which beloved makeup products were already in their bags.
Cheaves prides herself on being completely immersed in the development process and has personally tested countless shade combinations, wear time, and formulas before officially launching the brand in 2024.
Signature Lip Kit Trio: Amour Gloss, Ice Lip Oil, and Mocha Lip Liner is inspired by Cheaves’ iconic everyday lip combination. Overall, the collection has quickly become synonymous with effortless beauty.
“The lip kit! It’s the perfect nude, light pink, with the perfect chocolate lip liner,” Cheaves stated. “Then the glaze lip oil on top. It’s everything you need in one kit!”
Since its debut, JCB has expanded beyond its lip essentials. Attendees had the opportunity to purchase Pheromone 01 and Pheromone 02 with an exclusive preview.
JCB is committed to trusted formulas; ethical products made clean, vegan, and cruelty-free, staying true to Jayda’s non-negotiables. She even gave an insight “cheat code” into her own makeup routine with her signature products.
“I think the hack, of course, is making sure your face is clean and dry … Wipe your lips off before you apply your lip combo because it lasts longer,” she explained.
As guests browsed Waydamin collections, explored Girl Wipes, and shopped all beauty products, one aspect became increasingly clear: this vision was coming to fruition as the result of intentional brand building and betting on herself.
This pink dream experiential pop-up served as a reminder that today’s most successful entrepreneurs are forging their own paths and going against the status quo.
They’re building companies of their own; creating products, hiring teams, investing in their business with intellectual property, and establishing businesses designed for longevity.
The Waydamin x Shopify pop-up proved that the strongest brands aren’t simply sold online; they’re experienced.
“Work hard. Don’t depend on nobody for nothing because no one is here to save us,” Cheaves stated.
