‘Inside Man’ Trailer: Lucy Hale Stars In Mob Film Based on Gambino Crime Family

The official trailer for ‘Inside Man,’ starring Emile Hirsch, Jake Cannavale, Lucy Hale, and Ashley Greene, has been released.

Inside Man, based on true events, follows disgraced New York Police Detective Bobby Belucci (Emile Hirsch) as his life falls apart when he discovers his wife (Ashley Greene) is having an affair. After beating her lover to a pulp, she abandons him, and Bobby is demoted at work, sparking his determination to prove he is worthy of redemption.

Bobby then goes undercover as a grunt to infiltrate the Gambino crime family’s notorious “DeMeo Crew,” a violent and bloodthirsty faction that terrorized the 1960s and 1970s.

The New York Police Detective will go to any length to gain access to the crew’s leader, Roy DeMeo (Danny Abeckaser), in order to expose the murder and corruption. However, as Bobby sinks deeper into the mob and more bodies fall, the cost of forgiveness may become too high for him to bear.

Danny A. Abeckaser directed the film. Abeckaser, Bo Dietl, Vincent Laresca, Greg Finley, and Kyle Stefanski also appear in the film. The screenplay was written by Kosta Kondilopoulos. The film was co-produced by Kyle Stefanski, Gustavo Nascimento, Danny A. Abeckaser, and Jon Brewer.

Vertical Entertainment purchased the North American rights to ‘The Gemini Lounge’ in February 2023, and the title of the film was changed to ‘Inside Man’ after the purchase.

‘Inside Man’ will be released in theaters and on demand on August 11, 2023.
