On November 15th, InStyle presented the sixth annual InStyle Awards, honoring the actors, actresses and artists whose style defines the red carpet, as well as the industry’s top image makers. Hosted by InStyle Editor-in-Chief Laura Brown, the event consisted of a red carpet, cocktail reception, and seated dinner/awards presentation. For the first time, InStyle’s world famous social media activation, “The Elevator”, debuted at the event, directed by renowned photographer Douglas Friedman and designed by Stefan Beckman. New this year, the elevator was shot exclusively with iPhone and can be seen on the InStyle Instagram feed.
