One Music Fest was a movie. This music festival brought out thousands of fans, and black business owners and an epic weekend to Atlanta to enjoy the beginning moments of fall. Iconic artists from Usher, Sean Paul, Ms. Lauryn Hill, City Girls, Lil Baby, Chloe Bailey, and more performed at the festival through October 8th-9th.

The festival was a sold-out event as fans packed the different stages where their fan favorites were performing. Although this marks the 12th anniversary of the recurring festival, this year brought new artists, vendors, and excitement for the sold-out event.

The Stacey Abrams campaign was a prevalent presence at the festival while her team advocated the importance of voting for the 2022 Midterm Elections. In exchange for a pledge that commits citizens to vote early while getting their friends and family involved, her team gave out customized apparel to the festival attendees. With the event being held from 12 pm-10 am on both days, this was the largest Southeast festival with over 45,000 attendees across the country.

Chloe Bailey previewed a new single during her performance set and held the crowd’s attention with her sultry and hard-hitting dance moves. The crowd cheered her on as she showcased her angelic vocals and mesmerizing stage presence as she covered Adina Howard’s “Freak Like Me”. Some festival-goers enjoyed drinks and food during artists’ performances as the event had various cuisines and dishes for numerous cultures, a built-in mini skate rink that was sponsored by BET in an adorable hunt, Bacardi and Tito’s Vodka created unique cocktails for this festival experience.

If you weren’t at this event, you have to attend the next one! For the likes of festivals such as Lollapalooza, Rolling Loud, and Coachella – One Music Fest is one for the books.
