Crunchyroll announced on Thursday that it will stream an anime adaptation of the upcoming title “Kagurabachi”, based on the manga by Takeru Hokazono.

It has been revealed that the anime series will premiere in April 2027 and will be available worldwide on Crunchyroll, except in Japan, Mainland China, North Korea, and South Korea.

“Kagurabachi” has emerged as one of the most discussed titles in Weekly Shonen Jump ever since its announcement. Fans have been eagerly waiting for this action-packed anime series for its unique visual elements.

The previously released teaser trailer and visual showcased the protagonist of this anime series, Chihiro Rokuhira, as well as the enchanted sword “Enten”.

Tetsuya Takeuchi is directing the adaptation of the series, while Keigo Sasaki is designing characters, and Cypic is responsible for the animation production of this anime, which is known for producing “Umamusume: Cinderella Gray” and “The Summer Hikaru Died”.

So far, the Japanese voice cast includes Taiji Kimura, who voices Chihiro Rokuhira; Tomokazu Seki, who voices Kunishige Rokuhira; and Katsuyuki Konishi, who voices Togo Shiba. Konishi joined the cast on Thursday, along with the reveal of a visual and a teaser trailer for the character Togo Shiba.

In addition to its premiere, a global “World Tour” of screenings of some episodes of the anime series has been scheduled for fans.

The World Tour of “Kagurabachi” Part 1 will begin at Anime Expo, then continue to Japan Expo, AnimagiC, Otakon, and Anime NYC. You can find the details about the tour here.

More information regarding the cast and production will be released soon.
