Jamaican-born singer and songwriter Jada Kingdom has just dropped the latest visual for “Somebody Else,” the first single released from her newly penned independent label, Kingdom Mab. It’s a song of hypnotizing beats and smooth, commanding vocals that are raw with untapped talent. The video is as minimalistic as the song itself, being as defenseless as it gets in the delivery of emotions.
“Somebody Else” serves as the fourth single of 2024 from Jada, coming on the heels of those chart-topping successes: “What’s Up (Big Buddy),” “Top Tier,” and “Gen Z Jezebel.” The hits have resolved her reputation for crafting global bangers, each one with her signature storytelling and inimitable vocal style. With genre-bending talents, Jada continues to dazzle fans globally with her emotive and empowering lyrics.
The Fader hails her as “Jamaica’s alternative voice of pain”. Continuing to fire up waves in the music industry, with glowing reviews in GRM Daily, VIBE, Hot New Hip Hop, Wonderland Magazine, TRENCH, and HOLA!, she is well underway to becoming an international sensation. But, being that this star under the Kingdom Mab umbrella is self-sufficient when it comes to her own career seals the deal, proving she can easily handle the music world on her own terms.
