When there is an assassination attempt on U.S. President Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman), his trusted confidant, Secret Service Agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler), is wrongfully accused and taken into custody. After escaping from capture, he becomes a man on the run and must evade his own agency and outsmart the FBI in order to find the real threat to the President. Desperate to uncover the truth, Banning turns to unlikely allies to help clear his name, keep his family from harm and save the country from imminent danger.

ANGEL HAS FALLEN is directed by Ric Roman Waugh from a screenplay by Robert Mark Kamen and Matt Cook & Ric Roman Waugh, story by Creighton Rothenberger & Katrin Benedikt, and based on characters created by Creighton Rothenberger & Katrin Benedikt. Lionsgate and Millennium Media present, a Millennium Films/G-Base production.

We had the opportunity to cover the world premiere of Angel Has Fallen at Regency Village Theatre. We spoke with the cast about what makes this movie different and better from Olympus Has Fallen and London Has Fallen.

Jada Pinkett Smith revealed that there will not be a sequel to Set It Off but they might make a remake of the movie. She suggests that shouldn’t because it’s a classic film. She also talks about why Red Table Talk will remain on a digital platform instead of a televised program. Jada also responds to criticism about going to deep into her family life on the Facebook show.

Morgan is one of the greatest ever in the business and also recognized as the greatest narrator to many. Morgan reveals which actor he would want to narrate his life. Morgan Freeman might have not watched Black Panther which made well over billion in the box office. He claims he doesn’t know about Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan but we have a good feeling he’s playing around. Or is he?

Nick Nolte talks about playing Gerard Butler father in the film and also talks about who’s easier to shop with between his son and daughter.

Director Ric Roman Waugh loves how he framed Gerard Butler character into a bad guy which ultimately leads a man who always fights for his country into a man who has to fight against his country to prove his innocence. He also reveals that people don’t have to see the first two movies of the Fallen Series to understand Angel Has Fallen.
