Jessica Sutta believes her political views may have contributed to her exclusion from the latest Pussycat Dolls reunion. The girl group is set to return in 2026, but only with Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, and Ashley Roberts.
Sutta, 43, spoke about the reunion in a recent interview on The Maverick Approach. She explained that she and other former members of the group were not informed about the reunion plans. Jessica Sutta said:
“None of us were called. None of us were told about anything. In fact, we were blindsided. It was always a secretive thing. And they had been planning it for a year.”
Jessica Sutta learned about the reunion when it was announced publicly. She got a call from Nicole Scherzinger, but did not answer. Jessica Sutta said:
“I don’t plan to call her back. I love Nicole. This is very bittersweet for me. I respect her as an artist. I even cried with joy when she won her Tony recently.”
Jessica Sutta believes the reunion is “a cash grab” and would not take part in it.
“I’m not going to lip sync into a microphone ever again. Those days are over. I have my self-worth,” she said, also noting that she did not contribute to the group’s 2020 comeback song “React,” even though it was announced that she would be working on it.
She also noted that her political views may have contributed to her being left out of the reunion. She noted that she supports Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and has ties to the MAGA movement.
“I align with Bobby Kennedy, which is aligning with MAGA,” Sutta said. “Do I love what Trump is doing? Absolutely not. I do not believe in war. But we didn’t have a chance for the vaccine-injured community to get help without him.”
She also noted that she has been attacked for her views.
“People are screaming at me, ‘You’re MAGA, you’re MAGA.’ Yeah, I am. I triple down on it because I’m so sick of people telling me who I should be,” Sutta said. “These are psyops, y’all. They are messing with you. It is not real.”
She also noted that she has medical issues related to her COVID-19 vaccination in 2021.
Another member of the Pussycat Dolls, Carmit Bachar, also noted that she did not get to be a part of the reunion.
The Pussycat Dolls have not made any comments regarding Sutta’s claims.
