Joaquin Ciria Has Been Exonerated After Spending 32 Years In Prison For A Crime He Did Not Commit

Joaquin Ciria, who has spent the last 32 years wrongfully incarcerated for a crime he did not commit, was exonerated yesterday in San Francisco Superior Court with the help of Pro Bono attorney Ellen Eggers.

An investigation found police coerced a key witness, and the defense didn’t speak to 2 alibi witnesses for Ciria.
