A shooting at the University of Virginia occurred today, in which three players on the football team died.
The identities of all three people killed in a shooting on the University of Virginia’s campus Sunday night have been confirmed.
The University of Virginia held a press conference this morning and confirmed the identities of the victims.
Lavel Davis Jr., Devin Chandler, and D’Sean Perry were the three victims of the shooting.
The suspect, Christopher Darnell Jones Jr., who’s also a student and former football player, is in custody and has been charged with three counts of second-degree murder, according to the school President Jim Ryan.
A former coach of University Lab High School identified one of his former players, Mike Hollins, as a victim in that shooting. He said Hollins was injured and had gone through surgery, which went well.
