The grand jury returned with a whopping 16 federal counts against the Empire star, Jussie Smollett, for falsely reporting a hate crime attack in a January.

If you don’t know, you’re going to learn today. Jussie Smollett reported that he got jumped by two dudes with MAGA hats. He also said they tied a noose around his neck and poured bleach on him in below 0 temperature.

Everyone came to Jussie Smollett aid when they found out about the attack but turned against him when the world found out it was stage. Jussie Smollett reportedly paid two former Empire cast members $3500 (check) to stage the whole thing. People wanted to know why he would do something like this in the first place. Well it’s Hollywood, it gets to the best of them look at O.J Simpson. In O.J. Simpson case though he had GOAT Johnny Cochran defending him.

Jussie also managed to get the doctors that worked at the hospital fired for examining his conditions wrong but if you couldn’t tell his state of health maybe you shouldn’t be working at a hospital.
