Janet Jackson’s upcoming documentary confirms Justin Timberlake tried contacting her to do the Super Bowl halftime show with him in 2018:
“Justin and his team have been trying to contact us about you doing the Super Bowl..”
Jackson was vilified after the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show, while Justin Timberlake’s popularity seemed to take off.
Timberlake exposed Janet Jackson breast after ripping her outfit on the biggest American live stage.
In April 2021, celebrity stylist Wayne Scot Lukas claimed that it was planned by Timberlake, who sought to upstage his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears’ MTV Video Music Awards appearance at which she kissed Madonna.
