‪Kanye West Sues Jay-Z’s Roc-a-Fella Records, Def Jam, and EMI‬ -

Don’t Michael and Prince me and Ye

They separate you when you got Michael and Prince’s DNA.

Kanye West pretty much telling Jay-Z f*ck all of that brother shit. Ye has officially filed a lawsuit against RocAFella Records and Def Jam. He is also suing EMI, Kanye believes he’s owed millions of dollars. According to the Blast, a portion of that lawsuit refers to West’s production and writing credits on JAY-Z’s 2001 LP The Blueprint, stating that West helped “revitalize JAY-Z’s career.” In the suit filed against EMI, THR reports that that West is seeking declaratory relief and a transfer of property. West reportedly alleges unjust enrichment on EMI’s part. Kanye has reportedly hired a very high powered attorney from Quinn Emanuel litigator named, Robert Schwartz. This could also be Kanye trying to completely separate himself from Jay-Z. Either way this doesn’t help improving the relationship with Kanye and Jay. It looks like we will never get Watch The Throne 2. Well we shouldn’t have expected another collab by these two anyway. They seem to be really disconnected from each other.
