Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie, along with seasoned host Ryan Seacrest, return to the legendary star-making competition “American Idol” for season seven on ABC to help find the country’s next singing sensation.

For the fourth consecutive year, “American Idol” ranked as the top program in its time period on Sundays from 8 to 10 p.m. among adults 18 to 49.
