An interesting lawsuit was filed yesterday Kawhi Leonard V. Nike. Allegations in the lawsuit – “Unbeknownst to Leonard and without his consent, Nike filed an application for copyright registration of his logo and falsely represented in the application that Nike had authored the logo.”

This comes out days after the leak saying that the Clippers allegedly tried to buy the logo so they could offer it up to him as part of their free agency pitch.. interesting
Nike on Kawhi Leonard suing them alleging the company trademarked the logo he created as their own when he was with the brand: “We do not comment on pending litigation.” Logo has not been on his New Balance product.
