Long overdue: Kerry Washington wins her first Emmy for Best Variety Special. She served as an executive producer in Live in Front of a Studio Audience: All in the Family and Good Times.

The Little Fires Everywhere actress is also nominated for three other Emmys this year-for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie, Outstanding Television Movie and Outstanding Limited Series.

Congratulation to Kerry Washington and her Simpson Street production team.
