This live stream started out as a regular broadcast by popular streamer Ximena Flaka, but it turned out to be one of the most frightening viral moments of the year. She was living in her vehicle in a parking lot at night when she realized that something was off; the windshield wipers of her vehicle were removed.

On stream, Ximena’s voice was shaking as she absorbed everything she was seeing.

This is a tactic that law enforcers and experts have also warned against, involving traffickers or attackers sabotaging vehicles by either lifting wiper blades, placing objects under tires, or making marks around windows to trick victims out of their vehicles. Once this is done, attackers will take advantage of an opportunity that presents itself in parking lots.
In particular, according to reports from several law enforcement agencies, offenders often target lone women in parking lots, especially those who appear to be preoccupied, such as those who are livestreaming or with luggage.
