As per reports, Lil Nas X was involved in a confusing and disturbing ordeal in Los Angeles last Thursday morning. The “Old Town Road” creator was seen walking around Ventura Boulevard in Studio City in his underwear and cowboy boots at around 4 AM.
TMZ Hip Hop spotted the 26-year-old rapper walking down the center of the street, waving at incoming cars, slurring something about being at a party, and even putting an orange street cone on his head. Drivers passing by could not believe their eyes.
Police Summoned After Eyewitness Reports Suspensions
It weren’t doubles or fours of people that noticed anything. Some residents had called police after they had seen something they called a near-naked man walking down lanes. When LAPD police got there, they could see Lil Nas X still floating down the street.
It appears that in a shocking turn of events, Nas randomly attacked police personnel. Police overpowered him, put him in handcuffs, and called for paramedics. Paramedics suspected that perhaps there had been an overdose and took him to a hospital for medical attention.
His future: Treatment First, Charges Later?
Currently, the rapper is in the hospital. He could still be facing charges for the altercation, but for the moment, his physical well-being is paramount, reports TMZ based on information from law enforcement.
