Leah Kateb, a Love Island USA star, has spoken out after the US and Israel initiated a major strike against Iran on Feb. 28. She expressed that she is “truly shattered” after the loss of life and expressed her support to the families who are victims of all the conflict that has been going on.
This military strike against Iran, aimed at overthrowing the government, has heightened tensions all over the world. It has brought about reactions from all kinds of people, including celebrities and politicians.
Leah Kateb has expressed her views on the matter in a series of Instagram stories on Saturday. She expressed her views on the military strike against Iran and its effects on the people.
She expressed that she is “truly shattered by the lives lost and the pain many families are carrying right now. The souls we’ve lost were kind, hardworking, intelligent, and BRAVE!!! I pray the loss of them is not in vain. I pray I can see the place my family used to home — where they had to flee from.”
She added that her heart is “especially with my family and loved ones in Iran and everyone else who may be feeling fear or uncertainty during this time, hoping deeply for safety, protection, and peace for ALL involved.”

In the second story, Kateb expressed her views on the matter more broadly.
“Praying for peace. When war and fear take over, it’s the innocent who suffer most. Children, families, everyday people who did not chose this,” she expressed. “No matter the country or the side, every life is precious. May compassion rise above conflict. May healing reach every place and person hurting. May God be watching over.”
