Warner Bros. Pictures brings you its reimagining of Wuthering Heights, coming to the worldwide streaming site Max on Friday. HBO will also bring a linear channel broadcast of this film on Saturday at 8 p.m. EST.
Fennell wrote and directed the film, starring Margot Robbie as Cathy and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff, in an updated rendition of Emily Brontë’s immortal story. The story of their forbidden love evolves into a passionate affair, combining lust, love, and madness.
The supporting cast of this film consists of Hong Chau, nominated for the Academy Awards; Shazad Latif, Alison Oliver, Martin Clunes, and Ewan Mitchell.
Another movie launching on Max on Friday will be the film’s ASL version. This film will become the first romantic movie on this platform to feature dual ASL dubbing. In this ASL film, Leila Hanaumi, the star of Barbie with ASL, and Giovanni Maucere, the star of Superman with ASL, are paired in this romantic story, directed by Justin Jackerson, known for his work on It: Welcome to Derry with ASL.
