As part of its deal with the streaming service Spotify, Olivia Rodrigo will be revealed as the youngest artist to grace FC Barcelona’s jersey when the club faces its arch-rivals, Real Madrid, in the El Clásico match at the newly refurbished Spotify Camp Nou in Barcelona on May 10.

Grammy award-winning singer Olivia Rodrigo is set to grace the Barcelona shirt with her name as part of the streaming music service’s collaboration with FC Barcelona, with the collaboration being set to happen a few weeks prior to the singer releasing her third album titled “you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love” on June 12.

The Women’s team will wear the shirt featuring Rodrigo when they face Levante UD in the upcoming Liga F fixture on May 6.

On May 8, Olivia Rodrigo will come to Barcelona for a concert arranged for her by Spotify. Selected fans, called “Livies” based on their Spotify listening habits, will get to attend the event.

It will also mark the first time the El Clásico game is being played at the revamped Spotify Camp Nou stadium.

Other artists to feature on the Barcelona shirts include Ed Sheeran, Travis Scott, Coldplay, Karol G, The Rolling Stones, Rosalía, and Drake. Barcelona has been partnering with Spotify in its shirt collaborations since 2019.

FC Barcelona Stores and the Barça online store will sell limited-edition merchandise starting May 6, and the Nike Passeig de Gràcia Store in Barcelona will also participate. Limited editions will comprise 1,899 replicas of match-quality jerseys, 22 signed match jerseys, and 11 signed jerseys signed by Rodrigo.

Also, there will be a unique lifestyle collection that includes clothing, accessories, and other merchandise.

There will also be a release of a special edition of the Barça Matchday Playlist created by Rodrigo.

“Seeing OR on a Barcelona jersey for El Clásico, I don’t even know how to process that,” she said. “Getting to perform for the fans who’ve been listening since day one, in a city like Barcelona, is going to be so special.”
