Marjorie Taylor Greene Accuses Laura Loomer of ‘Celebrating’ U.S. Troop Deaths in Operation Epic Fury Clash

This public feud between two extreme-right individuals escalated on Saturday when Marjorie Taylor Greene accused Laura Loomer of “celebrating” the deaths of three US service members who were killed during a recent operation in the Middle East.

This all began when Loomer made a post on X about the deaths of three US service members who were killed during a recent operation in the Middle East as a result of what the US Central Command called Operation Epic Fury.

“3 US Service members have been killed in action as part of Operation Epic Fury. American heroes. God bless them and their families.”

This operation was noted in a March 1, 2026, update from US Central Command on the casualties resulting from the recent US operation in the Middle East. This operation comes as tensions rise between Iran and Israel.

Greene responded with a long, profane post where she accused Loomer of celebrating the deaths of US service members who were killed during this operation.

“This b**** is celebrating the death of American military members and thanking their families for their blood sacrifice,” Greene said. “Loomer lost two Congressional races bc nobody respected her or valued her enough to elect her. But this is who Trump takes late-night calls from and laps up her praise and worship.”

Greene continued her rant about Loomer as she also brought up Trump and another extreme-right activist named Charlie Kirk.

“Loomer hated Charlie Kirk bc he spoke out against war with Iran the same way I do. War with Iran is AMERICA LAST, and we voted against it the same way voters voted against Laura Loomer twice.

She added, “And now Americans are once again coming home in flag-draped coffins from another stupid, pointless foreign war for foreign regime change on behalf of Israel. And Laura Loomer demanded it and begged for it.”

Greene also took a direct swipe at Loomer: “Sign up for the military, Laura! Go to the front lines, Laura! Maybe then they’ll give you a gun. You don’t love Trump enough unless you go fight Iran yourself.”

Loomer responded with her own lengthy post, where she denied the accusations of celebrating the deaths of the military personnel and accused Greene of spreading false information.

“MTG @mtgreenee is truly unhinged,” Loomer wrote. “She just deleted this rant she posted about me from her official former congressional account, but she also posted it on her personal account, which she has blocked me from, which prevents me from replying to her in the comments.”

Loomer also accused Greene of lying about the recent attack that took place in Iran.

“Yesterday she was spreading propaganda for the Islamic regime in Iran by falsely accusing the US of striking a school in Iran with a missile, when in reality, it was the Iranians who fired the missile, which misfired,” Loomer wrote.

Loomer also defended her original post: “Also, how am I celebrating the death of American military members? I posted a news story and said God Bless our troops and their families.”

Loomer took her accusations against Greene to the next level when she accused her of having changed her stance on Islam and foreign policy and hinted that there was something fishy going on:

“Yesterday, it was exposed that a Muslim donor tied to the Holy Land Foundation terrorism trial has been donating to MTG and @RepThomasMassie,” Loomer wrote. “MTG is getting backed by supporters of Islamic terrorism.”

Additionally, Loomer hinted, without any facts, that Greene was part of “an Islamic influence operation.”

The argument escalated when Loomer brought up Greene’s divorce from her ex-husband, Perry Greene, stating that she had compiled opposition research that led to Greene’s resignation from Congress.

This, however, has not been confirmed by Greene, nor has there been any evidence, at least not immediately, to support Loomer’s claim.

In another post, Loomer wrote, “MTG @mtgreenee is attacking me as ‘America Last’ today in an unhinged, jealous rant because President Trump calls me, but he can’t stand her.”

Additionally, she said that a staffer named Milo posted “a prayer in support of the Ayatollah,” as well as “visa violations.” However, she did not provide any documentation for the claims.

This argument is part of the growing divisions among conservatives regarding the role the United States should play in the Middle East.

Greene has taken the role of an anti-war politician, stating that the United States military should not become more engaged with Iran, as it puts the interests of foreign countries before the interests of the United States.

On the other hand, Loomer has advocated for the United States taking strong action against Iran, as well as showing strong support for the country of Israel, as has the United States government.

This argument comes as the United States is rethinking its foreign policy priorities, the amount of money it spends on defense, and the powers of the executive branch of the government. Greene has not backed down, nor has Loomer, as of Sunday, when the argument was still posted on the two women’s social media sites.
