Toronto Raptors rookie Collin Murray-Boyles has earned the admiration of an unexpected fan: a TikTok celebrity who supports the New York Knicks.
In a recent installment of her popular Minute Madness segment, Megan Eugenio expressed her admiration for the forward, calling him a future All-Star and a leader of Toronto’s next championship team. In the video, Eugenio also expressed surprise at how attractive women from different countries find him.
“Collin Murray-Boyles. Three names, ’cause he’s sinking threes from behind the arc,” Eugenio says. “He was 2 for 2 last game against the New York Knicks, where, granted, they beat us terribly. The Toronto Raptors. It is preseason. We don’t have all our people. They don’t have all their people. But he scored 19 points, and he already has eight tonight against the New York Knicks. Again.”
Murray-Boyles, 21, was selected with the ninth pick in the 2025 NBA draft from the University of South Carolina. The 6-foot-7 power forward has shown his high potential and talent in the 2026 preseason, with an impressive balance of versatile defense, an offensive game, and double-digit scoring and rebounding.
However, Eugenio believes he has much more up his sleeve.
“This guy’s gonna be the next breakout star,” she said. “If I was willing to predict, he’s gonna be the next guy that when I walk into a Tim Hortons, he’s gonna be the cardboard cutout holding my next seasonal drink. He’s gonna get that sponsorship. He’s gonna be the guy that everyone’s wearing their jersey in, like, two, three, four years.”
Murray-Boyles’ success is even compared by Eugenio to Kawhi Leonard’s, who took the Toronto team to its first NBA championship in 2019.
“I feel like he’s gonna be an All-Star. He’s gonna bring the Toronto Raptors what it was in 2019, that championship,” Eugenio said. “He’s gonna be the next Kawhi Leonard. He’s got Scottie Barnes by his side. He’s got a young energy on the team.”
Eugenio also couldn’t believe how young the rookie player is, and admitted her other loyalty.
“He’s 21 years old. He was born in 2005. I was coherent by 2005,” Eugenio said. “And granted, I know I’m a Knicks fan, but this guy, I can’t look away from. He’s so young, and yet he’s gonna be so amazing. I can’t wait to see how this game plays out. And that’s my Megan Minute Madness of the day.”
