FBI is investigating the death of 31-year-old Keisha Nicole Jones, whose body was found floating in Biscayne Bay, three days after she disappeared from a nightclub in North Miami Beach, reports said.

The woman was last seen on June 26 at around 6 a.m. at Dean’s Gold nightclub in North Miami Beach, according to North Miami Beach police.

She is said to have left the club in a rideshare and was reportedly heading to Scarlett’s Cabaret in Hallandale Beach, which is the last place she was seen.

Surveillance cameras, reportedly provided by local media, have captured the last sighting of the woman at the Hallandale Beach cabaret as she attempted to trace people she met there.

The police had released a missing person notice on June 27th. Midway through the week, it was confirmed that she was dead.

Her body was retrieved from the waters of Biscayne Bay near a federal research building on Virginia Key, three days after she went missing.

The discrepancy between the place where the woman was reportedly last seen and where her body was found has sparked questions for investigators and her family.

As a result of its involvement in the case, the FBI is likely to conduct further investigations to establish what actually happened to her.

Jones’s family has prepared for her burial amid the ongoing investigation.
