A year after the teaser trailer debuted online to rave reviews, Paramount Pictures has finally released the full-length trailer for Christopher McQuarrie’s highly anticipated “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.”
Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, and Ving Rhames return in the seventh installment of the “Mission: Impossible” franchise, which was shot in Rome, Venice, Norway, and the United Kingdom.
Henry Czerny reprises his role as Eugene Kittridge, and Vanessa Kirby reprises her role as the White Widow from the sixth film.
Hayley Atwell, who starred in “Agent Carter,” leads the new cast, which also includes Esai Morales as the villain, Pom Klementieff as his aide, and Cary Elwes, Shea Whigham, Indira Varma, Mark Gatiss, Rob Delaney, Greg Tarzan Davis, Charles Parnell, Indira Varma, and Mark Gatiss in supporting roles.
The film follows Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team as they embark on their most dangerous mission yet: to locate a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity before it falls into the hands of the wrong people. With the fate of the world at stake and dark forces from Ethan’s past closing in, a deadly race around the world begins. When confronted with a mysterious, all-powerful adversary, Ethan is forced to consider that nothing is more important than his mission – not even the lives of those he loves the most.
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One reportedly has a $290 million budget, and it is the first of a two-film story that is expected to be the final screen appearance of Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt character.
The first installment of “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” will be released in theaters on July 12th, followed by “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two” in June 2024.
