College football may decide on national champions, but ABC and ESPN have long declared something much more turbulent and potent. Not dynasties. Not the winners of the Heisman Trophy.
The camera crew is still unbeaten at altering the course of a random Saturday in the life of an unsuspecting superfan. All it takes is one cutaway shot. One reaction face. Five seconds of celebration. Blink and you miss it. And voilà! You are trending.
This weekend, it happened again.
The Georgia Fan Who Broke The Internet
During Saturday night’s showdown between UGA and Texas, while the Bulldogs decimated their opponents, ESPN cameras did what they do best. They panned across the audience. They discovered joy, mayhem, nervousness, beer, and barbecue sauce. Then they found her.
A “stunning” Georgia fan, perfectly styled and radiant to the exact degree that Southeastern Conference night games typically bestow upon their followers, appeared momentarily on screen. That was all it took. Social media went instantly into meltdown mode, and football fans coast to coast suddenly had a whole new interest in Bulldog football.
One viewer captured the experience this way:
“Just became a Georgia Bulldog fan.”
Another fan, embracing full-on SEC exceptionalism, proclaimed:
“I am beginning to actually believe that the most beautiful women in the nation live within the Southern region.”
Then there is the fellow whose loyalty merits a national honor:
“‘My buddy rewindin’ the game last night for this girl because I wasn’t payin’ attention when she appeared on screen,'” he stated.
However, in a more self-aware and slightly bitter corner of the Internet, a critic added:
“The influence that mid women have on men on Twitter is astonishing.”
This is college football, where fan rivalries are fierce, and so is pettiness.

It didn’t take long for the internet to pick out this viral star. The woman bringing illumination to timelines is a UGA student and social media content creator on TikTok, known as @harlyisbae. This is what she posted to her page ahead of kickoff:

At that point, she had approximately 2,000 followers. This is currently shooting up faster than a Five-Star prospect’s NIL deal value. By Sunday night, she was everywhere. Screenshots. Reaction memes. “New crush” confessions. TikTok edits. And a mass migration of fans who suddenly developed a passionate, lifelong devotion to the University of Georgia.
