Celebrating the return of the highly anticipated second season of Alice in Borderland, Netflix today revealed a special look behind the scenes of the action-packed series — releasing both a Featurette as well as behind-the-scenes images.

“It’s just amazing. In this series, there are so many things that have never been done in Japan,” comments series star Kento Yamazaki when asked about the scale of the production. Co-Star Tao Tsuchiya adds: “The story itself is much bigger than last time. The filming atmosphere is also different from the first season.” When asked about what makes this season’s finale, director Shinsuke Sato adds: “It’s a battle of life and death. These guys are not warriors. They are not soldiers or heroes. They’re just regular people in Tokyo. So when they gather in Shibuya at the end to finish this chaotic game, I thought it would be great to show them standing up to the fight as heroes.”

Additionally, Netflix also revealed a special double-character art to celebrate the premiere of the series.
