Nipsey Hussle Sister Files For Custody For His Daughter Emani -

Nipsey Hussle’s sister wants to be the guardian of his youngest daughter, Emani. According to documents obtained by TMZ, Samantha Smith has filed a petition to become the legal guardian of Nipsey’s 7-year-old daughter, Emani Asghedom. Prior to his tragic death, Nipsey was Emani’s primary guardian, and Samatha says she has played a huge role in taking care of Emani over the years. She wants Emani to be in a great environment and still connected with Nipsey side of the family. “I want to ensure that she can continue to live with family members with whom she has always had close ties,” the petition read. “We need to ensure the continued stability for Emani and ensure she will be able to maintain her current and ongoing relationship with us.”

Samantha says she has remained close with her brother over the years, and entrusted him with her life. She feels it is now her turn to do the same for his daughter in his tragic absence. It is unclear if Emani’s mother, who goes by the name Chyna Hussle, is aware of Samantha’s move to become Emani’s guardian. Since Nipsey’s passing, the wellbeing of his children has been a concern for many people who cared for him and his family. Recently, fans did not take well to Reggie Bush’s kind gesture to create a gofundme for Nipsey’s children. Nipsey Hussle youngest child, Kross Asghedom, is with his mother Lauren London. It’s still not for sure if Lauren will try to gain guardianship of Emanuel as well if Samantha doesn’t get the guardianship. A judge has not yet made a decision on Samantha’s petition for guardianship, but we hope the decision made will be in the best interest of Emani.
