Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘GUTS’ is the No. 1 album in the country

‘GUTS’ by Olivia Rodrigo debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200 with 302k units (150k pure). It becomes her second #1 album.

‘GUTS‘ becomes Olivia Rodrigo’s biggest album debut in the US, surpassing ‘SOUR’.

Rodrigo’s “GUTS” (94K) scores the biggest vinyl sales week for an artist born this century, surpassing her own “SOUR” (76K) and “Happier Than Ever” (73K).

Olivia Rodrigo becomes the first female artist in nearly a decade to debut her first two chart entries at #1 on the Billboard 200 (first since Ariana Grande).

V’s “Layover” debuts at #2 on the Billboard 200 Chart with 100,000 units. It ties as the highest charting album by a Korean soloist in US history.

With Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘GUTS’ and V’s ‘LAYOVER’ at #1 and #2 on the Billboard 200 respectively, this marks the first time two artists of Asian descent occupied the top 2 in Billboard 200 history.
