Paige Spiranac defended her Instagram content in an Instagram story after a follower questioned whether she is sending the wrong messages to young girls in golf.
The fan questioned, “Do you think using your body for views sends a poor message to young girls who are starting golf?”
According to Spiranac, 97% of her viewership consists of men aged 25-50.
“My main demo is 97% men between the ages of 25 to 50,” Spiranac wrote. “My content isn’t seen or consumed by young girls or boys.”
She believes everyone is entitled to showcase themselves how they want and has never forced others to follow in her footsteps.
“I’m proud of my body, and I personally feel I should be able to express myself how I see fit,” she continued. “I’ve never said that others should follow and have been honest about the pros and cons of building a brand around physical attributes.”
If other people disliked her content, parents were free to raise their girls however they wanted.
“If it upsets you, then you have the power to raise your daughters in the way you want,” Spiranac wrote. “My parents raised me to freely express myself.”
However, Spiranac noted that this issue does not have a straightforward answer.
“None of this is right or wrong but comes down to personal opinion,” Spiranac wrote. “It’s actually a quite nuanced conversation that I can’t adequately cover in one story slide lol.”

Spiranac played college golf at Colorado State and San Diego State and briefly pursued a professional career before focusing on social media, where she has built a following of millions with golf instruction and lifestyle content.
