Peacock has released the official trailer, key art, and new images for Crystal Lake, the prequel series to the Friday the 13th franchise produced by A24.
The series follows Linda Cardellini as Pam Voorhees, a single mother who remains affected by the loss of her delicate son Jason, who drowned in Crystal Lake nearly a year ago. As two people visit her home and ask questions about her past, an ominous chain of events unfolds, prompting people in Crystal Lake to question Pam Voorhees’s true identity.
Created, written, and showrun by Brad Caleb Kane, the series will also be produced under his executive producership. Kane’s previous works include It: Welcome to Derry, Tokyo Vice, and Warrior.
Executive producers also include Marc Toberoff, Victor Miller, Robert M. Barsamian, Robert P. Barsamian, Stuart Manashil, Tyson Bidner, Michael Lennox, and Roy Lee.
Episodes 101-103 are directed by Michael Lennox, while episodes 104-106 are directed by Celine Held and Logan George, and episodes 107 and 108 are directed by Quyen Tran.
Starring in the series are Cardellini, William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins, and Gwendolyn Sundstrom, among others. The recurring cast includes Callum Vinson, Nick Cordileone, Joy Suprano, Danielle Kotch, and Phoenix Parnevik.
The series has eight episodes.
All eight episodes premiere on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, only on Peacock.
