The groundbreaking three-part series, produced by Believe Entertainment Group, explores the explosive 1980s ascent of Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons, Jason “Jam Master Jay” Mizell, and Darryl “DMC” McDaniels.
The docuseries promises an immersive experience, with exclusive interviews with not only the groundbreaking trio but also an impressive roster of hip-hop royalty. Ice Cube, LL COOL J, Questlove, Beastie Boys, Ice-T, Chuck D, Tom Morello, Salt, Doug E. Fresh, Big Daddy Kane, MC Lyte, Ed Lover, Jermaine Dupri, and others contribute their perspectives, providing a multifaceted picture of RUN DMC’s profound impact on the music industry.
