The highly anticipated second season of the critically acclaimed Netflix Danish series Baby Fever was graciously revealed today by Netflix.

The talented Josephine Park returns as the lead character Nana in this delightful six-part romantic comedy-drama, which is masterfully crafted by the creative duo of Amalie Nsby Fick and Nikolaj Feifer.

In the second season of Baby Fever, we meet Nana (Josephine Park), who has just given birth to a two-month-old baby. While Nana adores her child, she dislikes being on maternity leave. As a result, she politely asks her previous boss, Helle, to reconsider giving her her job back. Helle reluctantly agrees, on the condition that Nana not make any mistakes or tell any lies this time. Nana vows to improve herself and do whatever it takes to reclaim her position as the world’s best fertility doctor.

She has not, however, thought about who will care for her baby while she is at work. She reluctantly approaches her mother and requests that she live with them as a permanent babysitter and roommate. Nana faces a difficult situation because she must now excel at her job, particularly with the arrival of the new star doctor, Hampus.

Furthermore, Mathias, Nana’s lost love, remains in her life, unaware that he is the father of her child. Nana finds herself telling lies more than ever before, but she also recognizes the value of honesty in her situation.

We are thrilled and excited to be doing season 2 of Baby Fever. We love Nana and simply don’t feel we’ve finished exploring her character, or the fertility clinic as a setting, because it holds so many compelling stories we want to share. Now we have the opportunity to introduce a host of new characters while letting our regulars from Season 1 push the boundaries of comedy and drama still further.

Baby Fever’s second season will consist of six thirty-minute episodes. Tree Productions’ Dorthe Riis Lauridsen and Piv Bernth will produce the series. The launch date has yet to be determined.
