Prime Video has dropped a brand-new teaser for the critically acclaimed adult-animated superhero series Invincible. It hilariously teased the Burger Mart, the fictional fast-food joint from the show, too. It also confirmed that Season 3 will begin streaming on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Those viewers of the series won’t need to wait week after week between episodes; the first three episodes drop on premiere day, with subsequent episodes rolling out each Thursday through March 13, 2025.
That comes hot on the heels of the first two seasons of Invincible getting critical acclaim, with both seasons holding a “Certified Fresh” ranking on Rotten Tomatoes. The success of Season 2 was further sealed when the series took home Rotten Tomatoes’ coveted Golden Tomato Award for Best Animated Series in 2023, joining the ranks of some of the best-animated series in recent years.
The Story of Invincible
Based on the bestselling comic book series by Robert Kirkman, Invincible tells the story of Mark Grayson, the 17-year-old teenage son of the most powerful superhero on Earth, Omni-Man. Mark is a somewhat normal teenager his father is Omni-Man, the most powerful superhero on the planet. As Mark develops his powers, he starts to learn more about his father’s past. Mark soon finds the job is much more hazardous and, morally speaking, a lot more complicated than he had ever dreamed it would be.
By the end of Season 2, fans were on the edge of their seats when Mark faced the hard reality of his father’s dark past and the incredible pressure that comes with his new responsibilities. It has promised to dig deeper in Season 3 as Mark struggles through the jungles of his relationships and grapples with hard decisions that come with the territory of protection. Explosive action, depth of emotion, and high-stakes drama are what set the series apart.
A Star-Studded Voice Cast
The voice cast for Invincible boasts some of the best Hollywood has to offer. The lead belongs to Steven Yeun, voicing the conflicted and heroic Mark Grayson, while Sandra Oh plays the role of his mother, Debbie Grayson. Of course, there is the inimitable J.K. Simmons behind the imposing, morally ambiguous voice of Omni-Man.
The ensemble cast also features Seth Rogen, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Zachary Quinto, Chris Diamantopoulos, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, Ben Schwartz, Clancy Brown, Jay Pharoah, Mark Hamill, and Melise Jow.
Executive Production Team
The talent in front of the camera is no less impressive than the voice cast. Invincible is executive-produced by Kirkman, who also created the series. Other executive producers include Seth Rogen, David Alpert, Catherine Winder, Simon Racioppa, Margaret M. Dean, and Evan Goldberg. Co-executive producers Helen Leigh and Cory Walker round out the team that keeps this show delivering the same quality in animation, storytelling, and production values as those elements that have made it a hit.
A Landmark in Adult Animation
Invincible, brought a perfect mix of extreme superhero action, emotional moments of storytelling, and mature themes to the table for setting standards higher in adult animation. It has built a huge following because it provides the right balance between extremely violent fight scenes and the building of character emotion. As it gears up for its third season, anticipation has never been greater to see where Mark’s journey will take him next and how he’ll deal with the ongoing threats against Earth and his personal life.
By releasing Invincible in over 240 territories, Prime Video ensures that the show keeps the world tuned in. Audiences can now set their clocks for February 6, 2025, to catch another action-packed, emotionally deep chapter in the saga of Invincible.
