Prime Video has released the official trailer for the third and final season of “Harlem,” the acclaimed comedy series created by Tracy Oliver. The new season is set to premiere on January 23, 2025, and will be available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
“Harlem” follows the lives of four ambitious and stylish best friends—Camille, Quinn, Angie, and Tye—as they navigate the complexities of love, career, and sisterhood in New York City’s vibrant Harlem neighborhood. The series has been praised for its authentic portrayal of Black female friendships and its witty, relatable storytelling.
The upcoming season picks up after the dramatic cliffhanger of Season Two, with the central characters facing transformative life decisions. Themes such as motherhood, singlehood, career challenges, and family dynamics will be explored as the women strive to prioritize themselves and their happiness.
Creator and writer Tracy Oliver expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to tell these stories, stating, “I’m beyond grateful to the whole team at Amazon for giving me the chance of a lifetime to tell these four Black women’s stories and shoot it in the city I love: Harlem. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m honored to see the impact it’s made in the culture, as well as the impact it’s had on all of us who’ve been blessed to work on it.”
Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, added, “As we prepare to say goodbye to this incredible series, we’re both grateful for the journey Tracy has taken us on and excited for our global customers to experience a final season that truly honors these characters. This chapter may be coming to a close, but the series will continue to resonate for years to come.”
The final season will introduce new recurring characters portrayed by Kofi Siriboe, Logan Browning, Robin Givens, and Gail Bean. Siriboe plays Seth, a charming MLB player who becomes romantically involved with one of the protagonists. Browning portrays Portia, an intriguing figure from Ian’s past whose return to Harlem causes a stir. Bean appears as Eva, Givens’ daughter, a driven venture capitalist collaborating with Tye.
“Harlem” is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Universal Television, in association with Paper Kite Productions. Alongside Tracy Oliver, executive producers include Amy Poehler and Kim Lessing of Paper Kite, Dave Becky of 3 Arts, and Pharrell Williams and Mimi Valdés from i am OTHER.
As the series concludes, fans can anticipate a season filled with humor, heart, and the authentic representation that has made “Harlem” a standout in contemporary television. The final season promises to deliver a satisfying conclusion to the journeys of Camille, Quinn, Angie, and Tye, celebrating their growth and the enduring bonds of friendship.
“Harlem” Season 3 will be available for streaming on Prime Video starting January 23, 2025. Viewers can catch up on the first two seasons, also available on the platform, to relive the moments that have led to this highly anticipated finale.
