In 2021 Raye complained about her music collecting dust after being signed to a label in 2014 and not being able to release a debut album.
A year later after being independent her track “Escapism” goes viral and earned her first #1 single on the U.K. Hot 100 chart. The single features 070 Shake and it becomes both artists’ first #1 hit.
Raye’s debut album ‘My 21st Century Blues’ will be released on February 3rd. She released the album tracklist yesterday, which will feature 070 Shake and Mahalia.
The South London Artist will embark on a European and U.S. tour in February. The tour will kick off on February 25th in Amsterdam.
