The situation began with a fiery Instagram post from Remy Ma, accusing Papoose of falling asleep on a phone call with Shields while at her house. In her caption, she wrote, “Papoose dumb ass fell asleep on the phone with [@claressashields]. Laying in my house he refuses to leave. This bitch supposed to be a world champion boxer and get scary ass hung up soon as she heard my voice. Nowwww I’m telling everything ohhhh and babygirl u not the only one.”

Screenshots of a text exchange between Remy Ma and Papoose reveal tension over communication issues. In one text, Papoose reportedly stated, “But that’s ok, we are human beings, no human is gonna be able to report their every move. U see nothing wrong with that?”
Remy responded with frustration, demanding accountability, writing, “You take accountability! You are the one who is married! If you can’t at least sleep on the phone with me or be with me in person… it shouldn’t be a big deal to let me know you made it home safe.”
Papoose, however, claimed he had been attending work events, responding, “After the office I’m going to a Christmas party at the office. The CEO asked me to come last week. You don’t know that do you?”

As the drama escalated, Shields addressed the accusations in an Instagram story, denying wrongdoing and questioning Remy Ma’s credibility. Shields wrote, “This can’t be serious! You have 2 boyfriends.” Remy fired back, “[@claressashields] that’s what he told you lol.”
Shields later expressed confusion over the public call-out, saying, “How a woman with 2 boyfriends mad at a man that has a girlfriend, [@remyma] if I ain’t the only one why the hell you tagging me????”

Papoose Responds
Papoose broke his silence on the allegations, accusing Remy Ma of infidelity and clout-chasing. He claimed he had repeatedly asked for a divorce but was met with resistance. In his post, Papoose stated, “Sad to say that @remyma is a narcissist. She chose to cheat repeatedly. Now that I finally moved on, she’s playing the victim. I have requested a divorce numerous times. She rather clout chase on social media than handle this like civilized adults. I did not wanna do the social media foolishness. For the sake of my 6-year-old baby, I remained quiet through this all.”

She wrote, “Hey Ms. Shields, he took your advice but not before I screenshot yall convo. Oh, he was getting me arrested, the woman that NEVER f*ed off on him in 17 years! While plotting with ONE OF his chicks to try to destroy me.”
Remy Ma ended her post with a warning, alleging further threats from Papoose regarding their personal life and artistic collaborations.
