Rihanna and ASAP Rocky showed their Knicks pride off the court Wednesday night, first by cheering New York to a Game 4 NBA Finals win against the San Antonio Spurs in Madison Square Garden, then by hanging out with fans well into the morning, shooting hoops outside a local bodega.
In a street-style video posted to X (formerly known as Twitter) outside the bodega, the “Love on the Brain” singer breaks down her street-style fit, then makes a direct acknowledgment to her longtime boyfriend.
“That’s my baby daddy,” she declared to the camera, laughing. “I f-ed that n-.”
The couple, who have been together since 2020, are parents to three children: 4-year-old son RZA and 3-year-old son Riot Rose, and daughter Rocki, who was born last fall.
The unfiltered video had fans raving online, many commenting on what they described as Rihanna’s “lover girl” energy and dubbing Rocky her “fine ass trophy husband.”
While some social media users took issue with the songstress’s words, fans rushed to her defense.
“I think it’s hilarious that Rihanna makes people so mad,” one commenter said. “There’s literally nothing in this video to be upset about, and she already told y’all she was ghetto. Some of y’all seriously need to lighten up.”
Others suggested that the video highlighted their romantic connection.
“When a lover girl finally meets a man worth being the biggest lover girl for,” another said.
The appearance also saw them stop to sign autographs for fans on the street.
